July 2021 Neighborhood Bulletin (Email)

Good Morning all,

Our upcoming Simpson Neighborhood meeting info was posted to Social Media, but without paper flyers this year, we figured an email blast would be beneficial as well.

Our next meeting will be held this coming week (07/20) and continuing every other month moving forward (next meeting will be 09/21). Meetings are at the typical starting time of 6:30 PM at First Indian Baptist Church.

July Meeting Agenda:

- Community Action Officers for a Neighborhood and Precinct update

- Representative from Mayor Gallego's office (Introduction and listen to neighbor concerns).

- New Principal from Choice Learning Academy (formerly RE Simpson) to review changes to the school format, and their first year in operation.

- Neighborhood and event updates!

September Meeting Agenda:

- Community Action Officers for a Neighborhood and Precinct update

- Representative from Councilwoman Pastor's office (updates and listen to neighbor concerns)

- Representative from Streets and Traffic to review neighborhood challenges.

- Neighborhood and event updates!

We likely will use Social Media and Email only for notifications for the remainder of the year, so please let your friends and neighbors in Simpson know about the meetings if they aren't online too often (we'll look to resume the hard copies flyers in 2022).
