• Community Action Officer Updates

  • Discussed the Community Safety Plan boundaries & results for the past year

  • Arrest on the ‘Palo Verde’ house for distribution of prescription drugs

  • Police cameras & audio are not always recording for privacy but captures accidents and gun fire

• Asian Market coming up at Solano Park

• Caravan bar converting to a restaurant soon

• School District Updates

  • Discussed what district is doing for security

  • Discussed what feedback the neighborhood has for the school district

  • Discussed what is already known about school safety including SSO officers in the schools

  • Discussed what the community can do to help security

    • Be aware of traffic and speeds

    • Volunteer at the school

    • Attend school board meetings the 2nd and 4th thursdays at 39th Ave and Missouri

  • Discussed what the school is dealing with internally

    • Vaping

    • Fighting & Violence

    • Social Media and bullying

• Gated Alley 

  • As more alleys are closed others are experiencing an uptick in activity
