Good evening all, I know there aren't too many people who follow the forum yet, but thought I would post for those few who do! Our annual Luminaria display is coming up in about a week and a half, and we desperately need your help to cover as much as Simpson as we are able! We have the materials, just not the people! What we're asking is for volunteers to help organize their block, as many houses as they are able to. We will deliver the materials to make the luminaria for your street, which you and any neighbors you can recruit to assemble, place out on 12/17, and then pick up on the morning of 12/19. Oh man. Successful day of neighboring. Thank you guys for showing up and helping out. We got 3.5 alleys cleaned up. Now our neighbors can maintain that easier and get the flood irrigation. Plus we had fun. It's a win win all around. Next up we have our regular litter pick up on this coming Saturday then GAIN potluck the following weekend. October is Simpson-tastic. Loving our hood.

Was not able to make the meeting last week, so not sure if this was discussed, but was wondering if anyone knows what is planned for the vacant lots/houses with a fence around them on 21st Ave, just south of Missouri? Thank you..
